Dr. Kanwar Vishal Singh, IPS assumed charge as the DIG of STF (Special Task Force), Odisha

On assuming charge, DIG STF emphasised that already special anticrime drive is ongoing on the directions of DGP Odisha and guidance of DGP Crime.

STF will be giving top most priority in prevention and detection of the organised crime.

Along with giving emphasis on drive against wild life crime and Illegal gun smuggling, Sand Smuggling etc,

Prime focus will be given to Anti Narcotics Drive in the ongoing #NashaMuktOdisha Abhijan.

Interstate coordination and use of technology will be intensified in the capacity building aspects.
