SAMBALPUR/BHUBANESWAR:Sambalpur MP and former Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan visited Deogarh district on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day and participated in various programs and separately interacted with the general public, tribal students, mothers and sisters of self-help groups, and local entrepreneurs.
During the visit, Shri Pradhan inaugurated the ‘Gram Panchayat Subhadra Shakti Kendra’ at Golabhand, Barkot Block. There, he interacted with the Mission Shakti sisters, ‘Lakshapati Didi’, beneficiaries of Subhadra Yojana, beneficiaries of PDS and social allowance. Later, he visited the Adarsh Anganwadi Center at Ketisahi and interacted with the children studying there, their guardians and Anganwadi workers. The ‘Double Engine’ government is giving top priority to the children of this village to include them in the mainstream of society by providing them with proper nutrition, quality primary education and good healthcare. He said that we are committed to ensuring that no child is left behind in development.
Similarly, he met Buddhee Pradhan, the wife of Sukutu Pradhan, a beneficiary of the ‘PM Janman’ scheme in Dhaidasnal Sirihuli village, and inquired about the benefits of the scheme. He met the mothers and sisters of Mission Shakti SHG, who are undergoing bamboo craft training at Deogarh Gurusang, and discussed connecting the bamboo products made by them to the larger market and providing them with fair prices.
During the visit, Shri Pradhan visited the transformer manufacturing unit ‘SAI Electrotech’ established by young entrepreneur Satyabrat Jeet under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Shristi Pojat’ scheme and ‘Pratiksha Diary’ established with the help of ‘Mukhyamantri Krishi Kribhiya Yojana’ at Gopalpalli. The MP Shri Pradhan highly appreciated the successful efforts of this entrepreneur in providing employment to local mothers and youth and in developing the regional economy.
