DGP asks senior Police Officers to implement 5T

CUTTACK: Odisha DGP Abhay on Wednesday asked all senior Police officers to strictly implement Mo Sarkar and 5T initiative of the Government.

Addressing a meeting with CP, Range IGs, DIGs, DCP and Superintendents of Police through Video Conferencing at State Police Hdqrs here, he stressed  implementation of CCTNS especially submission of Final Forms, preparation for implementation of three new projects under 5-T scheme—Information Management System, Medico Legal System and EFIR, review of pendency of investigation.

He directed the senior police officials for conducting special drive on execution of NBW, timely holding of promotional Boards for promotion to the rank of ASI, Lance Naik and Havildars at district level, submission of nomination for different Police Medals especially DGP Disc, Governors Medal etc, submission of information about vacancies in different ranks, separation of consumer electricity connection within Police Station campus, finalization of land for building projects and proper utilization of funds under non-salary heads.

Abhay also asked the officers to prioritize building for State Action Plan 2020-21, proper utilization of funds under head office contingency for Police Stations, and supply of uniform articles.ADGP Vinaytosh Mishra, Crime Branch Chief, Saumendra Kumar Priyadarsi, IGP Rekha Lohani were among those present during the video conferencing.
