Correction of land record of Shri Jagannath Mahaprabhu in Satyabadi Tehsil, Shri Jagannath Mahaprabhu’s land property transferred to the Shrimandir administration

PURI:As per the instructions of the state government, another success has been achieved in the work of rectification of the Record of Rights of the land in the name of Shri Jagannath Mahaprabhu , Puri and recorded in the name of Marfatdar. In this series, the work of rectification of the original Record of Rights (ROR) of the land recorded in the name of Shri Jagannath Mahaprabhu BJ, Puri has been done in Satyabadi Tehsil. A total of 38 accounts have been corrected in Satyabadi Tehsil.

As a result, the work of rectification of the Khatian of a total of 693.106 acres of land under various mouzas of Satyabadi has been successfully completed and this land has been transferred to the administration of the temple as the property of Shri Jagannath Mahaprabhu. The Satyabadi Tehsildar has submitted a report in this regard to the administration office of the temple. Earlier, records of 458.896 acres of land were revised, while after the start of the Sri Jagannath Temple Administration Land Sale, records of another 234.21 acres of land have been revised.

All the processes have been expedited for the protection of Lord Jagannath’s land, proper record keeping and legal protection, said Dr. Arvind Kumar Padhi, Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department and Chief Administrator of Shrimandir. Recently, the record correction of land over 4700 acres in Khordha district was done in the name of Lord Jagannath.
Similarly, in Pipili tehsil, the work of record correction of 77.20 acres of land in 82 accounts has been completed. The Shrimandir administration is giving importance to the protection of Lord Jagannath’s land and maintaining cleanliness in revenue administration and preventing land-related disputes in the future. This work will continue in the future and the state government is ready in this direction, said the Chief Administrator of Shrimandir.
