BHUBANESWAR:The Union Cabinet today passed a historic resolution congratulating the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji on completing 25 years of uninterrupted glorious leadership as the Head of the Government. This resolution is not just a proportionate tribute, but also celebrates the extraordinary journey of Prime Minister Modi Ji guided by the principles of ‘Nation First’ and ‘Citizen First’. The support of the people in three complete majorities in Gujarat and three consecutive Lok Sabha elections is a symbol of the continuous faith of the countrymen in Modi Ji. Starting from taking charge as the Chief Minister of Gujarat to taking India to new heights today as the Prime Minister of the country, 10 major tasks of his leadership have been included in the resolution of the Union Cabinet. Today is a very glorious day in the democratic history of India, said the State President and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Manmohan Samal.
In a press conference held at the state office today, State President Shri Samal said that during Modiji’s Chief Ministership, Gujarat’s “Swagat” public grievance redressal system and during his presidency, the country’s Prime Ministership through “Pragati” at the Centre played a major role in expediting the completion of the country’s stalled projects. Similarly, the ‘Jyotigram’ scheme has become a model for the entire country today. Due to the personal experience of the Prime Minister, today 60 crore Jan Dhan accounts, more than 4 crore pucca houses and 25 crore people have been freed from poverty and given the opportunity to live with dignity to their families. There are 3.5 crore ‘Lakshapati Didi’ in the country, women have been protected through the ‘Nari Shakti Bandhan Act’, more than Rs 4 lakh crore in farmer assistance through PM-KISAN and development has been provided to the most vulnerable tribal communities through PM-Janman. State President Shri Samal said that the implementation of GST, reforms in welfare schemes and repeal of old colonial laws despite the fear of political losses are proof of Modi ji’s strong will.
Similarly, after Modi became the Prime Minister, government capital expenditure has increased from Rs 2 lakh crore to over Rs 12 lakh crore. Electronics production has crossed Rs 13 lakh crore. Defence production and semiconductor manufacturing have made India self-reliant. Digital revolution through Jan Dhan, Aadhaar, mobile and UPI, indigenous Covid vaccine, the success of Chandrayaan-3, and private partnerships in AI, quantum technology and space have made India a global technology hub. The world’s largest vaccination campaign during the global Covid pandemic and timely energy security measures during the West Asian crisis have given the country confidence. The 2016 surgical strikes, 2019 Balakot air strikes, 2025 Operation Sindoor, abrogation of Article 370, OROP and creation of CDS post have set a new frontier in national security. India’s influence has increased globally through consensus at the G-20 and BRICS summits, inclusion of the Global South and the African Union, and ‘Vaccine Friendship’. The highest honors received by Modiji from 36 countries is proof of this, said State President Shri Samal.
Under Modiji’s leadership, Gujarat’s cultural glory has been re-established through the development of the climate department, solar energy, yoga, Miletus, Kashi Vishwanath Dham and the creation of Ramlala’s soul. This resolution is not just a calculation for one term, but also provides an impetus for all of us to re-commit to building a prosperous, self-reliant and developed India by 2047, said State President Shri Samal.
