BHUBANESWAR: Ahead of the agrarian festival, the Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has directly transferred more than Rs. 833 crore as the fifth installment of the CM-KISAN scheme to the bank accounts of more than 41 lakh families through DBT in the ‘CM-KISAN’ programme organized in Bhubaneswar today on the occasion of the holy Shri Krishna Janmashtami. This money will be of great help in purchasing essential agricultural inputs for the upcoming Rabi crop.

The main objective of the state government is to ensure the social and financial security of farmers by providing a fair price per quintal of paddy under the ‘Samruddh Kishan Yojana’, promoting allied agriculture, and providing free technical education to the children of farming families through the ‘Krishi Vidyanidhi’.
