SG Tushar Mehta: I will speak to the Chief Secretary.
CJI: Probably, normally in the State, the Chief Secretary, Home Secretary and DGP constitute a selection panel.

Sr Adv Karuna Nundy for Nath: On affidavit I have said that I don’t know them at all. I have never spoken to them, not even on the phone. I do not know them through other people. There should be no doubt on this.
