BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha State Cabinet Chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved 13 proposals of 7 Departments.
Chief Minister’s Road Scheme extended for another 5 years. Good road connectivity will be ensured to remote areas.Road facilities will be provided to villages in the state that do not have roads.
Measures to strengthen the livelihood of fishermen. There is a proposal to bring a special policy for fishermen.
Approval received for 4600 km of new roads. All villages that do not have roads will be connected.
Efforts will continue to connect especially remote areas. Bridge and dam project extended for 5 years.
Chief Secretary Anu Garg said after meeting that 3167 old bridges will be renovated.
