BHUBANESWAR: Today, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi attended the graduation ceremony of the 13th batch of Cadet Sub-Inspectors at the Biju Patnaik State Police Academy in Bhubaneswar and congratulated the newly appointed officers.
After successfully completing two years of rigorous indoor and outdoor training, they have today joined the very important law and order system of the state. The police uniform is not just a dress, it is a unique symbol of constitutionally granted power, discipline and public service, therefore, CM Majhi called upon the newly appointed officers to implement the concept of building a prosperous Odisha by controlling crime, preventing cyber fraud and implementing the SMART POLICING policy.
CM Majhi advised the newly appointed officers to serve the society impartially by maintaining zero tolerance against corruption, strict discipline and human sensitivity. ‘Our government is fully committed to the all-round modernization and welfare of the police force. The dedication of the newly appointed officers will definitely play a major role in establishing peace and order in the state and building a prosperous Odisha, CM said.
