PURI: On 1.4.2026, Chhatar Sevak Shri Ranjit Kar has been suspended for forgery of flag receipt. Shrikar brought Shri Bijendra Kedia of Hyderabad to the branch office of the temple and showed him a fake receipt to tie 14 elephant flags.
During the investigation, it was found that the fee for flagging was not submitted in the name of Shri Kedia and Shrikar admitted to the temple supervisor that he had given the fake receipt.
In this regard, Shrikar was asked to explain himself on behalf of the temple administration. Shrikar has been suspended as the excuse was not satisfactory. The order states that this suspension order will be in force for six months from today. If Shrikar is seen tempting or threatening any servant during this period, his suspension period will be extended and strict action will be taken. The Chief Administrator clarified that no such disorder will be tolerated in the temple.
