BHUBANESWAR: For Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, BJD nominated Sulochana Das while for Cuttack, MP Subash Singh and for Berhampur, Sanghamitra Dalei.
Three municipal corporations is going for the forthcoming ULB polls scheduled on March 24. BJD Spokesperson Das has been nominated for BMC, Rajya Sabha MP Singh will contest for the Mayor post in CMC.
BJD President Naveen Patnaik approved the name of Sanghamitra Dalei, who is the president of BJD’s women wing in Ganjam district, for the post of Mayor in Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC).
Congress has already announced the name of Madhusmita for the Mayor election in BMC. The party had announced former cooperator Giribala Behera as its Mayor candidate for the CMC.
