BERHAMPUR/BHUBANESWAR:Golanthara Police have successfully solved a theft case reported on 01.04.2026 by Sri Shiba Samantaray of village Randha. The complainant alleged that unknown miscreants broke open the shutter lock of his medicine shop during the night and decamped with cash of ₹20,000 and a Vivo V20 mobile phone.
During investigation, CCTV footage and witness statements led to the identification of the आरोपी. Acting on credible information, police apprehended accused Shaik Sadam from Khajastreet area under B. Town Police Station, Berhampur. Cash of ₹3,700 along with house-breaking tools were recovered from his possession.
The accused was arrested on 07.04.2026 and forwarded to the Hon’ble Court. Further investigation is underway.
