NOIDA: Bahuda Yatra ceremony was held at Shri Swarna Kshetra in the Royal Garden Estate complex at Sector-61 of Noida amidst Pious atmosphere and spiritual fervour. Special religious rituals were performed before Deities stationed on the makeshift Adap Mandap at Community Centre in early morning. At about 8:00 AM Pahandi Bije of Deities started. First God Sudarshsan, then Lord Balabhadra followed by Devi Subhadra and at last Lord of the Universe Shri Jagannath were taken by the devotees in Dhadi Pahandi to the colourfully decorated horse driven Cart Chariot. Around 2,000 Odia and non-Odia devotees residing in sectors 61, 52, 53 and 33 of Noida congregated here to witness the Return Car Festival being organised for the first time here. Being hosted jointly by Hindu Sammilani Samiti, Royal Garden Estate Mandir Samiti and Samudayik Vikas Samiti, unusual interest, unexpected enthusiasm and unprecedented excitements were visible among both the organisers and participants during the Grand Ceremony.
Chief Guest Internationally acclaimed Astrologer Guruji Dr Gautam Rishi conducted the traditional sweeping in front of the horse’s cart called Chherrapahanra. At about 9.00am the pulling of cart began. The majestic horse cart carrying four Deities on board were taken to the Main Temple at Shri Swarna Kshetra in the Royal Garden Estate complex of Sector-61. It was heartwarming and overwhelming to see hundreds of devotees standing on both sides of the road to have an auspicious glimpse of the Lord of the universe. Bahuda Yatra of Deities concluded at around 11 am.
