BHUBANESWAR:Odisha, blessed with natural beauty and a vast coastline, has immense potential for the development of the tourism industry. After the formation of the BJP’s double engine government in the state, which has revived the golden chapter and prestige of foreign trade in Java, Sumatra, Borneo in the past of the Odisha Sadhava Kolha, the improvement, modernization and expansion of the tourism infrastructure is being given top priority.
In this regard, continuous emphasis is being given to the development of road, railway, air, waterway and hotel industry to make Puri a true international tourist destination. In a historic decision, a state-of-the-art ‘International Cruise Terminal’ is going to be built in Puri with an investment of Rs 1500 crore in collaboration with the state government and the Paradip Port Authority. State Media Coordinator Shri Sujit Das expressed his heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Union Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi and the state government.
