BHUBANESWAR:The Letter of Approval (LoA) for the new campus of the prestigious Liverpool University in Bengaluru has been formally handed over. The Letter of Approval (LoA) was handed over in the presence of Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper.

Expressing joy on this glorious occasion, Union Education Minister Shri Pradhan said that this is a successful implementation of the National Education Policy of the Hon’ble Prime Minister and a historic step towards making India a global hub of knowledge, innovation and research. The arrival of such leading universities of the world in India will expand educational opportunities for our youth and further strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership between India and the UK.

The establishment of campuses by world-renowned universities in India will enrich the country’s educational environment. Indian students will be able to access world-class education, cutting-edge research and innovation opportunities while staying in their own country. On this occasion, the Union Minister congratulated the University of Liverpool and expressed his hope that he would be excited to welcome the first batch of students from the Bengaluru campus to India.
