BHUBANESWAR:Accused Prakash Kumar Sahoo had instigated a 17 years old boy and the absconding accused, Balia Behera, to throw eggs at the convoy of Hon’ble MP Smt. Aparajita Sarangi near the Bolagarh Flyover on 17.05.2026, thereby endangering the safety of the occupants of the vehicle.
In this connection, an FIR was lodged by the PS to the MP, Shri Dhaneswar Barik.
Accordingly, Bolagarh P.S. Case No. 230/2026 dated 19.05.2026 was registered under Sections 126(2)/ 132/ 3(5)/ 324(4)/ 352/ 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
Based on CCTV footage, CDR analysis, and local enquiry, accused Prakash Kumar Sahoo and the CCL were apprehended on 31.05.2026. The motorcycle and mobile phones used in the commission of the offence have been seized.

Further, accused Prakash Kumar Sahoo is being produced before the Hon’ble Court of JMFC (Cognizance-Taking), Khordha, while 17 years old boy is being produced before the Hon’ble Court of the Registrar-cum-Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), Khordha.
