BHUBANESWAR:A high-level review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Shri Suresh Pujari regarding the implementation of various major schemes and citizen-centric services of the department.
As per the discussions of the meeting, arrangements will be made for scanning, digitalization of old records of almost all Bhoodan lands in the state and linking them with the land records through the ‘Bhoodan-LRMS Portal’.
Until the digital record is complete, restrictions will be imposed on illegal transfer and mutation of Bhudan land. There will be a strong investigation into fraud related to Bhudan land and illegal encroachers will be uprooted. Bhudan land will be allocated only in favor of the genuinely homeless, giving priority to the noble objective of Acharya Vinoba Bhave.

Bhoodan land fraud will be investigated, all Bhoodan land in the state will be computerized. Bhoodan land can be mutated or recorded only in favor of homeless persons.
