BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari along with Chief Secretary Anu Garg , DG Fire Services Dr Sudhanshu Sarangi and SRC Rajesh Prabhakar Patil briefed the press on Wednesday that informed that 46 blocks of 5 districts affected in floods, death toll reaches at 3 in recent floods in the State.
12 blocks of Balasore, 5 of Bhadrak, 13 of Mayurbhanj affected. 3 blocks of Jajpur and 13 blocks of Keonjhar districts affected. Information on 1465 villages in a total of 304 panchayats affected
10 urban areas also affected by floods, More than 380,000 people affected. Information that 3 more people have died in the floods, More than 30,000 people have been evacuated
and 8,837 hectares of land are also under water.
Information released about 922 houses demolished. 237 relief camps have been opened in flood-affected areas.
