PURI/BHUBANESWAR: DGP SK Bansal on Saturday reviewed the security preparedness for Shree Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra slated for July 1 in pilgrimage city of Puri.
Director Intelligence, Sanjib Panda, ADGP(Law and Order) RK Sharma, ADGP Coastal Security and Railways, Dr Sudhansu Sarangi, IGP (Operations), Amitabh Thakur, IGP Central, Narasingh Bhol, IGP Headquarters, S Devadutta Singh, Puri SP Vishal Singh, DIG STF JN Pankaj, DIG SIW Anirudha Singh, DIG Intellegnce, Anup Sahoo, Additional CP Dr Umashankar Dash and others senior officials were among those present.
180 Platoons of Force, 18 SP Rank Officer, 33 Additional SP , 74 DSP, 136 Inspector, 711 SI/ASI, 107 Havildar, 673 Constable, 2008 Home Guards will be deployed for security of devotees.
