With Voting is going on for 102 Lok Sabha seats spreading across 21 States and UTs in the first phase of the 7 phases polls along with 92 Assembly Constituencies in the State Assembly Elections in Arunachal and Sikkim on Friday, BJP’s Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate Baijayant Panda and Party’s Kurukshetra MP Candidate Naveen Jindal appeals voters to turn in large numbers to Polling Booths to cast their votes

NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR:  With Voting is going on for 102 Lok Sabha seats spreading across 21 States and UTs in the first phase of the 7 phases polls along with 92 Assembly Constituencies in the State Assembly Elections in Arunachal and Sikkim on Friday, BJP’s Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate Baijayant Panda and Party’s Kurukshetra MP Candidate Naveen Jindal appeals voters to turn in large numbers to Polling Booths to cast their votes. 1625 candidates incluing Males – 1491  and Females-134 are in the fray in the first phase.

‘The biggest festival of our democracy begins today with the Lok Sabha elections. I urge everyone, especially young and first-time voters, across the 102 seats in 21 states and UTs to exercise their vote. Each vote contributes to the strength and integrity of our nation, Baijayant Panda, who is also BJP’s National Vice President , Election in charge for Uttar Pradesh, In charge for  Delhi, Assam and Mahila Morcha, said in a X post.

‘आज एक महत्त्वपूर्ण दिन है, जब देश में प्रथम चरण का मतदान हो रहा है। मैं सभी मतदाताओं से अपील करता हूँ कि आप अधिक से अधिक संख्या में मतदान करें, क्योंकि आपके एक वोट में सुरक्षित, विकसित और आत्मनिर्भर भारत बनाने की शक्ति है।, ‘ Naveen Jindal , who also heads Jindal Steel and Power, OP Jindal Global Univdersity and Flag Foundation of India, said.

35.67 lakh first time voters are registered  are casting their votes in first phase. Additionally, there are 3.51 crore young voters in the age group 20-29 years. Around 16.63 crore voters are exercising their franchise at 1.87 lakh polling stations spread across 21 States and UTs.
