Vigilance Sleuths Traced Rs 2.27 Crore Assets of OCCL Manager Ranjan Dang

BHUBANESWAR/CUTTACK: On an allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income, the Vigilance on Monday conducted simultaneous house searches on the properties of Odisha Construction Corporation Limited (OCCL) Senior Manager Ranjan Kumar Dang here.

The raids were carried out at three locations in the district by threeteams of Sambalpur Vigilance Division and found his total assets to beworth Rs 2.27 crore.

The assets include a three-storied building at Sambalpur town, sevenplots of land including six in Sambalpur district and a plot inSubarnapur district, a two-wheeler, bank deposits of over Rs 16.93lakh, insurance deposits of Rs 21.15 lakh, cash of Rs 1,45,850 andother movable and immovable properties, all totalling over Rs 2.27crore. Further searches were continuing.
