BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday addressed a press meet here at Lok Seva Bhawan marking 2 years completion of his Government in the State.
State BJP President and MP Manmohan Samal, Deputy CM Pravati Parida, Chief Secretary Anu Garg, BJP poll incharge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar and Additional Chief Secretary Information and Public Relations, Home and Industry Hemant Sharma and others were among those present.
CM said “With the unwavering faith of the people of the state and the grace of the Almighty, our government has successfully completed two years today. The revolutionary changes that have taken place in the fields of agriculture, industry, health and education in the last two years are proof of our development-oriented journey,”
“We are committed to building a prosperous, strong and progressive Odisha based on the Odia heritage.Power is not just an existence for us, but a sacred vow of public service. Your support is our strength; let us accelerate this journey with collective efforts, he said.
‘Basic amenities are the foundation of development. Our government is firmly committed to providing electricity, clean drinking water and good road connectivity to every village. Through ‘Mission Power’, work is progressing at a rapid pace to ensure basic amenities in every village of the state,” CM said.
‘Cleanliness, accountability and public participation are the hallmarks of our government. In a democracy, it is the responsibility of the government to answer the questions of the people. Our efforts towards building a developed Odisha by fulfilling the trust and hopes and aspirations of the people will continue unabated,” he said.
‘In two years, our government has been moving forward with people’s trust, people’s participation and people’s development. With the guidance of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the double impact of the double engine government, Odisha is writing a new chapter of development today. Our journey continues with the goal of Prosperous Odisha-2036. The blessings and cooperation of the people are our greatest strength,” he added.
