BHUBANESWAR: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has expressed deep grief over the demise of renowned mathematician and former Vice Chancellor of Utkal University, Professor Dr. Gokulananda Das.
Shri Pradhan said in his condolence message that I am saddened and heartbroken by the demise of Dr. Gokulananda Das. As an outstanding scholar, he had a special interest in teaching and research. He was a great devotee of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath. He also wrote on spirituality and popular science. He was a simple-minded person. His speech was sweet. He gave inspiring advice to students even outside the classroom.
