BHUBANESWAR:On the occasion of the holy Navdinavaani Yatra of the presiding goddess of Talcher, the goddess of fire and the embodiment of power, Maa Hingula, Union Education Minister Shriyut Dharmendra Pradhan, along with his family, visited the temple of the goddess and offered prayers during the rising sun.
Having seen the special attire of the Mother, Shri Pradhan considered himself a hero and described Maa Hingula as a symbol of the unique cultural, religious and spiritual consciousness of our eternal civilization. Having been enshrined as fire since the beginning of creation, Maa has blessed the people of Talcher and is renowned all over the world as the Thakurani of the Shree Mandir. On this occasion, Minister Shri Pradhan prayed that the land of Angul will prosper at the feet of Maa and the vision of ‘Developed Odisha’ and ‘Developed India’ will be realized through the mercy of the Mother.
During this visit, the Union Minister, in line with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s call for “Cleanliness is Service”, joined the cleanliness drive at the Mother’s Peeth. He expressed that it is the responsibility of every citizen to keep the environment beautiful and clean. Along with this, Shri Pradhan distributed Anna Prasad to the devotees who had come on the Mother’s Yatra with his family and engaged himself in other service work. He wished that the immense mercy of the Mother always remains with everyone and that everyone is well.
