BHUBANESWAR:Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday held a comprehensive review meeting in New Delhi on the release and utilization of funds under the ‘Samgra Shiksha Abhiyan’. The meeting, held in the presence of senior officials of the Ministry of Education, focused on making ‘Samgra Shiksha 3.0’ more efficient, transparent and result-oriented in the coming days.
The Union Minister has informed that from this year, an integrated approach will be taken to make the school education system of the country more coordinated and have a wider impact. He said that under this scheme, all major flagship schemes like the entire education campaign, PM-Poshan, Jaanth, PM-Shri and others will be merged or coordinated, which will help in maintaining better coordination within the entire education system.
Apart from this, the meeting also discussed in detail the future relations and cooperation between the Centre and the States, while maintaining the spirit of cooperative federalism. More focus will be given to the effective implementation of the National Education Policy. It will give special emphasis on innovation, proper nutrition, skill development, development of sports and arts among the students. Union Education Minister Shri Pradhan expressed the hope that all these comprehensive efforts will make the students of the country more empowered and capable in the coming days. In addition, this step will play a major and transformative role in building the skilled human resources or human capital that the country needs to realize the dream of Developed India 2047.
