NEW DELHI: Union Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan has joined the ‘Ek Peed Maa Ke Naam 3.0’ campaign launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the occasion of ‘World Environment Day’. In this context, Shri Pradhan planted trees with his mother and family members in Delhi. In addition, the Union Minister also planted trees with the students in the ‘PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1’ campus in Delhi Cantonment.
He said that this campaign, which was started on the call of the Prime Minister, is not just a program today, but has taken the form of an inspiring ‘people’s movement’ for environmental protection and emotional connection. Planting trees in honor of mothers is not just an ordinary act, but it is a beautiful effort of gratitude to the mother who gave birth and our shared responsibility towards the mother who gave birth. Shri Pradhan has called for joining this holy campaign. He advised the countrymen to take a commitment to protect the environment and take care of every tree we plant for the welfare of the next generation and for building a prosperous India.
Similarly, while interacting with the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Kuni Kuni, Shri Pradhan explained to them the importance of tree plantation. He appreciated the children’s awareness, enthusiasm and sense of responsibility towards environmental protection. He said that this interaction has increased the confidence in a green and bright future for India.
