BHUBANESWAR:Today, Umesh Chandra Tripathy, Ex- Assitant Engineer (Retd),Jayanta Narayan Panda,Ex-JE(Retd), NAC Khariar in Nuapada and Prasanna Kumar Mahana, Contractor, who were charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance for misappropriation of Government money, were convicted to 3yrs jail and fine each.
Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for stoppage of pension of Umesh Chandra Tripathy, Ex- Asst. Engineer (Retd) & Jayanta Narayan Panda, Ex- Jr. Engineer (Retired), both of NAC Khariar,Nuapada following their conviction.
Today, Pravakar Behera, Former Principal, Government Driving Training School, Bhubaneswar (Retd), who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance for possessing disproportionate assets, was convicted to 3 years jail & fine of Rs.1,00,000/-.
Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for stoppage of pension of Pravakar Behera, Former Principal, Govt. Driving Training School, Bhubaneswar (Retired) following his conviction.
