BHUBANESWAR:Nature lover Trilochan Saho is well known in Odisha as TREE MAN for his various innovative works. He has been considered worthy of receiving the National Award for his outstanding contribution in this field for implementation of disaster Management guidelines on School Safety Policy through School Safety Wall in various schools. The National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration, New Delhi, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has informed Trilochan Sahoo through a letter to receive the Award.
The award distribution program will be held for two days on September 2 and 3 at NIEPA, New Delhi. He will attend and receive the award. Trilochan’s efforts in the field of school safety and disaster management among students and teachers, parents and community are commendable. He often enlightens the students on various safety and disaster management awareness.
He has directly and indirectly involved thousands of students, teachers and parents and community in this and provided them with appropriate training. This has been successfully implemented in various schools of Jajpur district, while it has also been successfully implemented in various schools of Anandpur in Keonjhar district. For this, Shri Sahoo has been congratulated from various quarters. Trilochan says that, “I am always engaged myself to do some new and innovative work to reach more and more community for solving their probelms.”
