BHUBANESWAR: Call it a Bijay Sharma style or Sudhanshu Sarangi style but the fact is very loud and clear that reads like this “Touts be aware! Sharma-Sarangi here!
“As part of our sustained efforts to weed out fixers, police arrested 5 middlemen cheating patients in DH Hospital, Bolangir. On the basis of FIRs, they are being forwarded to court. Further investigation to identify others in the operation continues,” DGP Sharma said in a Twitter post.Till now, 14 touts have been nabbed in 3 major Government Medical Colleges and Hospitals, added the DGP.
On Wednesday, 4 persons were arrested at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar while on Thursday, Sambalpur Police rounded 5 touts from Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research.
Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi has also requested citizens to report any such instance to the police.
