BHUBANESWAR/KOLKATA: The ruling Trinamool Congress’s approach to the development and social justice of West Bengal is extremely disappointing. From the extreme irregularities in the state’s transport system to the government’s anti-women and tribal attitude, it reveals their fear of defeat and administrative failure, said Union Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan.
Today, during his visit to West Bengal, Union Minister Shri Pradhan participated in the ‘Shri Jagannath Vishwa Shanti Mahayagya’ organized in Kolkata. Along with BJP National President Shri Nitin Naveen, Shri Pradhan had darshan and worshipped the divine form of Lord Shiva. On this occasion, Shri Pradhan said that today it was a great privilege to be a part of this holy Mahayagya. This three-day spiritual festival is dedicated to the message of world peace, goodwill and spiritual unity. This rare Besha Darshan of Lord Shiva is a pious opportunity for the devotees and devotees.
Earlier, Shri Pradhan, while participating in a dialogue with truck owners, said that the logistics and transport sector in West Bengal is facing serious problems. Toll-related problems, irregular fines and administrative negligence, along with the ruling party’s “illegal money collection” have weakened the economy of Bengal. Echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech, he said that a ‘ruthless government’ is currently running in West Bengal. By opposing the ‘Nari Shakti Bandhan Act’, the TMC has undermined the rights of women. The disrespectful behavior shown towards the Honorable President Smt. Draupadi Murmu is proof of the TMC’s anti-tribal ideology.
The Union Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, work is underway to build a developed India by 2047. But a prosperous ‘Sonar Bangla’ will be possible only when the state government works for the benefit of the people, not against them. The people of Bengal are now aware and they will definitely respond to this injustice, he said.
