Talks for Alliance with BJD Seems Failed: BJP may declare candidate list for 15-16 Lok Sabha seats and 100 Assembly seats in Odisha by Tonight or Tomorrow

BHUBANESWAR:   The BJP Central Election Committee is all set to announce names of candidates for as many as 15 to 16 Lok Sabha seats of the total 21 and some 100 Assembly seats of the total 147 seats in Odisha.BJP Central Election Committee  is expected to announce the names by tonight or by tomorrow.

Party’s Central leadership has sent a list to Election Committee, which will take a final call. BJP will fight in all 21 Lok Sabha seats and 147 Assembly seats in Odisha. Of the total 21 seats in Lok Sabha, BJP has finalised its candidate for as many as 16 seats while talks are regarding Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur and other Lok Sabha seats.

Sources said, talks for alliance with BJD seems failed and BJP now preparing to fight in all seats in both Assembly and Lok Sabha seats. BJP National president JP Nadda ,  National general secretary (Organisation) BL Santosh , State President Manmohan Samal, State general secretary (Organisation) , Manas Mohanty and Odisha in charge , Sunil Bansal, all expressed their displeasure and argued to fight alone in Odisha.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are expected to extend their support to the stand taken by Odisha BJP, sources added.
