The entire road has turned into a sea in just a few hours of rain. Devotees, tourists and local residents are forced to walk knee-deep in water. Half of the vehicles are submerged, which poses a risk of a major accident at any time.
Puri residents direct question to the administration: Crores of rupees are being spent on the drainage system of Badadandar, but where is all that money going? Even though such a situation is arising every year, why is no proactive step being taken for a permanent solution?
Who is responsible for such a plight of the world-famous city of Puri? Instead of just making the excuse of smart city or developmental work on paper, let the administration work immediately at the grassroots level and permanently solve this waterlogging problem of Badadanda.
