BHUBANESWAR: On the basis of intelligence input, a raid was conducted by team of STF, Bhubaneswar at Khordha on 29.09.2023 and apprehended one absconding drug peddler namely Md Sadam S/o. Md Rustam of Danagohiri under Pipili PS in Puri wanted in STF PS case No. 01/2022 dated 25.01.2022 U/s. 21(c)/29 NDPS Act,1985 r/w. Sec.25/27 Arms Act, 1959.In this case, on 25.01.2022, contraband brown sugar 03 kg 110grams, 03 numbers 7 MM Pistol, 07 nos Magazine, 43 rounds of 7 mm Ammunitions , One Khoka and other incriminating materials were seized from the possession of accused persons.
The accused was absconded from the spot during raid. He was the main supplier of arms and ammunitions to the accused person Siba Prasad Das. The accused has been arrested and forwarded to the court of District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Nayagarh on 30.09.2023.Investigation is on.
Similarly in STF PS case No. 37/2021 Dt 20.12.2021,U/s-21 (c)/29NDPS Act 1985, on the basis of intelligence STF arrested another absconding accused person namely Chittaranjan Behera S/o. Biswamohan Behera of Gopalprasad PS. Fategarh Dist. Nayagarh.
In this case contraband brown sugar1090 gram and other incriminating materials were seized from the possession of accused persons. The apprehended accused was absconded from the spot during raid.
The accused has been arrested and forwarded to the court of District &Sessions Judge-cum-Special. Judge, Dhenkanal on 30.09.2023. Investigation is on. The accused was earlier booked in Nandankanan PS Case No. 01 Dt.07.01.2022U/S 20(b)(ii)(c)/29 NDPS Act.
