BHUBANESWAR: Former BJD MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik and former BJD MP Prasanna Patasani may likely soon join BJP. Both Patnaik and Patsani may join BJP in New Delhi.
If Soumya Patnaik joins, BJP may field him from Ghasipura in Keonjhar. In September last year, BJD had expelled Patnaik for anti-party activities.
Patasani, who won the Bhubaneswar LS seat five times in a row, was denied BJD ticket to contest the 2019 elections. Patasani was eyeing on Chilika Assembly seat but BJD’s Raghu Sahoo now a stumbling block.
