BHUBANESWAR: Solicitor General Tushar Mehta on Thursday apologized before Supreme Court for the Comment by Odisha AG Pitambar Acharya on Amicus Raju Ramachandran during Odisha DGP issue hearing on Wednesday.
Odisha AG had said that Amicus Raju Ramachandran was presenting the case as if he was arguing for petitioner.
SG: Yesterday, unintentionally, my ld. friend (Odisha AG) said something…I tender an apology to Mr Ramachandran
Ramachandran: That’s very gracious
SG: He’s a very respectable and very responsible counsel. We fully trust him
Ramachandran: It’s very kind of the SG, who had no hand in it, to make amends.
