BHUBANESWAR: 1995 batch Odisha cadre IAS Officer Sushil Kumar Lohani has been transferred and posted as new Odisha Chief Electoral Officer.
Lohani was Secretary Excise Department with additional charge as Commissioner, Commercial Tax. Lohani was on Central deputation and just backed to Odisha. Sushil Lohani’s wife is a senior Odisha cadre IPS officer Rekha Lohani.
Another Odisha cadre IAS officer SK Meena o 2012 batch, who was Secretary, Board of Revenue, has been shifted as posted a Private Secretary to Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs.
