AUL/BHUBANESWAR: A passenger bus named Nayak and Nayak, on Wednesday hit with a truck near Malapatna under Aul police station of Kendrapara. However, some passengers have escaped unhurt while several others sustained injuries.
Sources said, the passenger bus coming from Rajkanika to Cuttack while it hit with a truck and overturned at Malpatna in Aul. Some 40 passengers were in the bus.
Injured passengers have been shifted to Pattamundai and Kendrapara hospitals for further treatment.
According to reports, the incident occurred following a collision with a hyva truck. As a result, the driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels and the vehicle skidded off the road.
