BHUBANESWAR: Senior IPS officer Dayal Gangwar suspended. Chief Minister Mohan Charan orders suspension.
Gangwar had been transferred from his post as Additional Director General (ADG), Communication, and posted as OSD in the Home Department.
Gangwar name was in controversy over Balianta Soumya’s death. Father and mother had complained about Soumya being mentally abused by the IPS Officer.
Gangwar was serving as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Home Department at the time of the action.
