Rungta Sons Pvt Ltd Donates Rs 4.50 Crore for 5T College Transformation Program in 11 Colleges in Odisha Chief Minister’s Home Turf in Ganjam

HINJILICUT/SHERAGADA/BHUBANESWAR:  The Rungta Sons Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Jharkhand’s Chaibasa Headquarters’ SR Rungta Group led Rungta Mines Ltd, has donated Rs 4.50 Crore for 5T College Transformation Program in 11 Colleges in Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s Home Turf Ganjam in Odisha.

Under the 5T College Transformation Program, 11 colleges of Ganjam District will be refurbished completely with Mo College Abhijan. Of which 8 are Plus-II colleges/higher secondary schools and 3 are Degree Colleges.

Rs.4.50 crore amount sanctioned by Rungta Sons Pvt Ltd under its CSR funds, is received under the supervision of Collector and DM of Ganjam  Dibyajyoti Parida. Double matching grant of the amount of Rs.9 Crore was granted by the State Government under ‘Mo College’ Abhijan.

Higher secondary schools of Ganjam district including Hinjilicut block’s Shri Beleswar Higher Secondary School, Gandala-Belagam; Khambeya Dora Science Higher Secondary school, Pochilima; Government Higher Secondary School, Kanchuru; OAVS Hinjilicut, Hinjilicut Municipality’s Science Higher Secondary School, Pittala Higher Secondary School; Udaya Pratap Science Higher Secondary School; OAV Sheragada will be taken up.   Similarly, Shri Beleswara Degree Mahavidyalaya, Science College (Autonomous) Hinjilicut and Udaya Pratap Science Degree College of Sheragada Block will be developed under the initiative.
