BHUBANESWAR: During Covid-19 Pandemic 7749 swayamsevaks served in 3062 centres in the state under the supervision of Seva Bharati and Utkal Bipanna Sahayata Samiti. They distributed 32,967 Ration Kits, 1.82,815 food packets, 1,90,305 masks and provided Services to 20,504 Pravasi Odia, Kadha drinks to 92,600 people, also rendered Special help to 1395 Nomad people, 17,266 Bus & Train Passengers through 24 Centres, managed 127 Stay Homes, distributed food in 21 centres for 26,983 labourers and also collected 744 Units of Blood. Similarly 92,656 service Centres were run by Seva Bharati through out the Country, where 5,60,000 swayamsevaks actively Participated and distributed 73,00,000 ration Kits,Food Packets for 4.5 crores People, 90,00,000 masks and helped 20,00,000 Pravasi people, 2.5 lakhs Nomads and have collected 60,000 Units of Blood. This has been Stated by RSS Odisha in the press Conference. Samir Kumar Mohanty,Pranta Sanghachalak- Odisha Purba , Sumanta Kumar Panda, Saha Pranta prachar Pramukh and Gopal Prasad Mohapatra, Purba Kshetra karyabaha were present in the Press meet.
Akhila Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha of RSS was held on 19th & 20th March -2021 at Bengaluru. In this meeting 15 Karyakarta from Odisha have participated directly and 26 karyakarta participated in the online meet. 450 Kendriya Pratinidhi of the country have participated in this meet at Bengaluru . Due to Corona Pandemic other 1000 members participated online in 44 centres throughout the country.
In this meet election has been conducted for the post of SaraKaryabaha. Dattatreya Hoswale has been unanimously elected as New Sarakaryabah. It has been further communicated that the active participation of entire society of Bharat during Covid-19 pandemic set an example for the Whole world. Bharat have also produced indigeneous Vaccine and distributed it to many countries of the world. In this connection Pratinidhi Sabha have congratulated the people living in different corners of the country working for the said purpose. Discussion also has been made regarding “Nidhi Samarpan” of Sri Ram Temple. After all the discussions ,two Resolutions, one for Corona pandemic and the other for SriRam Temple have been passed.
In the resolution for covid-19, it has been stated that Bharat has stood as one against the pandemic and all frontline workers have discharged their duties with utmost care and devotion. Pratinidhi Sabha hopes that the country as well as the World will recover from this Pandemic very soon. Bharat has been able to convert the obstacle into an opportunity by producing Ventelator,PPE Kits and making available of sufficient corona Testing Centres and producing corona Vaccine at reasonable price.
ABPS is confident that our Society will recover soon from this Pandemic and will lead a normal life.In this resolution on SriRamTemple, it has been stated that after the unanimous decision of Hon’ble Supreme Court a Public Trust “SRIRAM JANMABHUMI TIRTHA KSHETRA” has been formed for construction of temple at birth place of SRIRAM. When this Trust has campaigned for Nidhi Samarpan , RSS has lend its full Co-operation to their effort. This campaign has proved how people of Bharat have a strong connection with SriRam. All Sections and sects of the society have overwhelmingly participated in this campaign. The people from Villages ,Towns,Forests and Hilly area , from rich to poor have united and contributed to make this campaign a success. Pratinidhi Sabha has Congratulated all Ram Bhaktas for their unparalleled spirit and cooperation in this regard.
Nidhi Samarpan Campaign has been converted in to a public Campaign. In this campaign the Swayamsevaks have reached out to ,5,45,737 places and 20 lakh Swayamsevaks have touched 12,47,21,000 families. Due to this Campaign Spiritual awakening, National Integration, Social harmony and dedication is made visible in the country, and its internal power has been regenerated.
During Covid-19 Sangha Sakha stopped functioning but Swayamsevaks were active. After removal of covid restriction 74,000 sakhas of RSS are being run in the country including 1565 from Odisha. Programme has already been made by RSS for Parivar Prabodhana ,Go seva, Environmental protection and social harmony. In coming Days programme for Village Development and Organic farming will be started. Further RSS will start campaign for protection of nutrition quality of the soil from 13th April-2021.
