BHUBANESWAR: Rs 2 Crore cash (record for Odisha Vigilance) unearthed from the house of Kalpana Pradhan (second wife) at Tata Ariana flat in BBSR during ongoing searches against Sri Kartikeswar Roul, Assitant. Engineer., MI, Bhanjanagar in Ganjam. 20 gold buiscuits weighing approximately 580 gms also recovered.
The raid was conducted on charges of amassing disproportionate assets by Rout, who works as the Assistant Engineer at the Minor Irrigation Department in Bhanjanagar of Ganjam district.
