BHUBANESWAR: On Friday, on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Sri Mahesh Prasad Patnaik, Executive Engineer,Minor Irrigation Divison., Balasore, simultaneous house searches by Odisha Vigilance are going on at 5 places in Rayagada,Visakhapatnam,Khurdha, Mayurbhanj and Balasore.
Assets including 5 Flats in BBSR & Vizag, 6 Plots, Deposits worth over Rs.1.19 Crore, 825 gms gold & 6 kg silver worth over Rs.22 lakhs, Cash over Rs.2.5 lakhs, etc. unearthed in house search.
3 DSPs, 12 Inspectors, 2 SIs, 5 ASIs & other staff were conducting search on the strength of Search Warrants issued by Hon’ble Special Judge Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
