BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha government has provided financial assistance of Rs. 1 crore to the family of late Chandan Patnaik, a firefighter who died while working during the Kendrapara floods.
In addition, a government job appointment letter has also been handed over to one member of the family.
On this occasion, Minister of Revenue and Disaster Management Suresh Pujari paid tributes to Late Chandan Patnaik. DG Fire Services , Home Guards and Civil Defence , Dr Sudhanshu Sarangi was also present on this occasion.
