PURI:Today, on the sixth day of chariot construction, the chariot construction team arrived at the chariot yard before 8:00 AM and began construction work with the advice of the chief Maharana.
*After the Tumba Bindha Anukul Puja was completed by the Chief of the Three Chariots, the Tumba Bindha work began*
Today, after the auspicious puja of the three chariots, the piercing work has begun in the tombs. Each tomb has 16 pairs of piercings (2/3 of the diameter and 5 inches deep). By the end of today’s construction work, the ‘Taladhwaj’ will be completed.
The work of tying 8 pairs of 14 tumbas of the chariot, 7 pairs of 12 tumbas of the Devi chariot and 8 pairs of 16 tumbas of the ‘Nandighosha’ chariot has been completed. In addition, the Karti Maharana has completed the work of cutting the girders (remaining parts) of four tumbas of the three chariots.
At the temporary blacksmith shop of Dola Bedi, the blacksmiths have already prepared three wheels each and completed the construction of four ‘Pandaribala’ each for the three chariots.
