PURI:Today, on the 47th day of the construction of the chariot, the construction workers arrived at the chariot yard before 8:00 am and began the construction work as per the instructions of the Chief Maharana.

(By yesterday, all the polgayals and chandagayals had been twisted and tied with ropes to sit on the thorns) *Three times the chandagayals have been twisted*
Out of a total of 32 polgayals and chandagayals in the three rathas, the remaining two chandagayals were twisted and tied with ropes to be fixed. Today, the work of fixing the thorn in the remaining chandagayals has been completed.
*In the last phase, 44 yoke fittings will be done in three stages*
Today, the Yoka fitting work of the three chariots has reached its final stage. Before fitting a total of 44 Yokas in the three chariots, the work of measuring and carving the Yokas has been completed. The Yoka fitting of 8 Yokas each in the Tal Dhwaj and Dwarka Dilana chariots has been completed. The Yokas of all the Yokas of the Nandighosha chariot have been completed. (These Yokas are being fitted at the four corners of the chariot. The Yokas are being measured and carved in the Yokas to hold the axle, Kuduka, Niradi and Gayal of the chariot, and then the Yokas are being set by inserting the nails.)
*The first ground frame preparation work for the third chariot has begun in Rath Chali*
Today, under the supervision of the Chief Maharana of the Trirath, with the cooperation of the Trirath Maharana Sevak and Bhoi Sevak, the preparation of the first floor frame of the Trirath has begun. The preparation of the six-piece prema of the first floor frame has been completed.
(This first ground prema will be made up of 6 strands, 4 strands, connected to form 24 petals on all four sides and 16 petals attached to the four sides to hold the petals. The prema will be made up of 24 ground strands connected to form 24 strands to hold the petals)

The sculptors have completed the carving of the images on the altar throne face three times and the polishing of the images. They have also continued carving the Kandarpa images on the eight-legged feet three times.

At the temporary blacksmith shop in Dolavedi, the blacksmiths have completed the construction of the yoke and the ground and potal thorn.
