PURI/BHUBANESWAR:Today, on the 30th day of the construction of the chariot, the construction workers arrived at the chariot yard before 8:00 am as usual and began the construction of the main Maharana’s Marg Darshan by giving a presentation.

After the construction of the 42 wheels of the three chariots has been completed, the work of building the axles of the three chariots has begun, along with the construction of various parts of the chariot. After the construction of all the axles, the chariot frame will be made up of five frames, with the ends connected on both sides. The side frames will be connected to the Kuduka doors on both sides of this frame. Four nakhas will be erected in front and behind the five frames, and fourteen nakhas will be erected on all sides of the four nakhas. After this, the groundwork of the three chariots will be laid. In this order, the construction of the chariots has been moving forward under the guidance and direct supervision of the three chariot chief, Maharana.
The construction of three chariots has begun, and 18 more letters remain.
Out of the total 21 axles of the three chariots, three axles suitable for the wheel dera principle have been completed. The construction of the remaining 18 axles of the three chariots has begun. In the morning, the three chariots’ chief maharana and his fellow maharanas have continued the work of rounding both sides of the remaining axles in the rain forest on both sides. Today, the delegation of the chariot construction supervision committee visited the chariot workshop to supervise and monitor the construction work. After inspecting the three chariots’ axles, it has been suggested to change the axle wood that has knots and holes on both sides of the wood used for the axle construction.

The leveling work or Chita work has reached the final stage. The work of cutting the Pol Gayal will start from tomorrow.

The sculptors have carved rare lion shapes on the three chariots’ sal guj and tikha guj, and are continuing the polishing work on the finished forms and adding ornaments to the forms.
*Blacksmith’s axe*
At the temporary blacksmith shop in Dolavedi, the blacksmiths have constructed three chariots, a fire pit, a fire pit with a four-legged stool, and a 25 mm fire pit for gargara.
