BHUBANESWAR/PURI:As usual, the chariot construction team arrived at the chariot yard before 8:00 AM today and joined the construction work.
As of today, 31 wheels of three chariots have been completed.
To date, 31 wheels out of a total of 42 wheels have been completed for the three chariots.
In addition, till today, 33 sal gujs, 20 teikh gujs, 27 water tanks, 32 kudukas, 44 12-foot jokas, 4 20-foot muhants and 4 nared chaupats have been completed.
*In addition, out of the 12 earthen floors of the three chariots, the work on four earthen floors has been completed and the work on four more earthen floors made of wood is in progress.
The servants of the Three Chariots are continuing to carve the shapes in the clay and polish the finished shapes.
At the temporary blacksmith shop in Dolavedi, Ojha blacksmiths have completed the production of 12 wheel locks, bolts, locks, and arkanta for the three chariots and have continued to manufacture the bagia locks and godichal locks for the gate plate giants of the three chariots. The Ojha blacksmiths have informed that preparations will begin to manufacture the 20 mm bolts of the three chariots from tomorrow.
