PURI:Today, on the 70th day of the chariot construction, the chariot builders arrived at the chariot yard at 8:00 AM and began the construction work under the guidance of the Chief Maharana.
*Chariot construction progress*

*Dhulidanda sat in the three chariots*
With the help of Maharana Sevak and Bhoi Sevak, the work of fitting the three chariots has been completed today, with two Dhulidandas in each chariot, at the back of the altar, in the fourteenth Nahaka.
*Construction of new brake pulley for three vehicles in final stages*
The construction of new brake pulleys of the three-wheeled chariot has reached its final stage. The 16/16 size brake pulley of the Darpadalan chariot and the 16/18 size brake pulley of the Taladhwaja chariot and the Nandighosh chariot, which were partially completed yesterday, have been widened by the Maharana Sevaks of the three-wheeled chariot today. To widen the lower (base cable) part of the brake pulley, the 7/3 size Dhaura wooden button boards have been completed on both sides of the brake pulley. To install the said brake pulley in the Gudihu chariot, four iron bracelets are left at the top of the brake pulley and one iron bracelet fitting at both ends. After the iron bracelet fitting, the rubber mat fitting will be done at the bottom of the brake pulley and the painting work will be completed.
*Three times the light is carved in the form of a flower, and the final stage is: polishing work continues*
In the final stage, the carving work is done in the form of the three chariots, the carving workers are giving the final touches to the carving work in the form of the three chariots, the polishing work of the finished form parts is continuing in parallel.
*Painter*
The painters have completed the painting work on the 24 chariots of the three chariots and are continuing the painting work on the side deities, horses, and charioteers of the three chariots.
*Blacksmith’s axe*
At the temporary blacksmith shop in Dolavedi, the blacksmiths have completed the construction of the dust collector for the three chariots and have added it to the chariot wheel. The construction of six iron bracelets for the brake pulley for the three chariots has reached the final stage.
*Pahi Maharana*
The Pahi Maharana has continued to manufacture wooden and bamboo equipment for worship and other services during the Rath Yatra.
