PURI: Puri Sankarcharya Swami Nischalalanda Saraswati on Sunday unveiled a logo and a tagline of Clean Puri initiative here in his mutt premises. The Seer also awarded Sriyans Panda and Dr Pramod Chandra Swain with cash of Rs 10,000 each as winner of first prizes in logo and tagline Competition held earlier.The tagline is ‘Pride in Purity’ and ‘Pabitra Puri Garb Amari.
As many as 181 persons were given consolation prizes in competition.The seer praised the initiative of Government for keeping holy city clean so that more and more visitors could come here. It will also
enhance pride of Puri said Saraswati. Puri Collector Balawant Singh narrated logo and tagline as summative symbol of Pancha Bhuta namely air, water, sun, earth and sky.
