TALCHER/KANIHA:Swachhta Pakhwada(cleanliness fortnight drive) is being organised at NTPC Talcher Kaniha from May 16-31,2018. As part of observance of cleanliness drive at the power station, a public toilet constructed at the main plant gate entrance by NTPC Kaniha was inaugurated today for public convenience, spread awareness on cleanliness and promoting hygiene through use of public toilets.
The public toilet was inaugurated by Ram Kuber, Executive Director, Talcher Kaniha in presence of senior officials of the power station.Shri Kuber on the occasion appreciated the efforts of civil dept for constructing the toilet and hoped that toilet will benefit visitors and general public visiting the station.
On the occasion A K Tripathy, GM(O&M) ,N Acharya ,GM(Maintenance) ,Shri Ramesh Sinha GM(Operations), Shri N S Rao,GM(TS) , Shri P K Sahu ,DGM(HR) ,other officials & representatives of union & association were present on this occasion.
The power station plans to organise various events like swaachta pledge, swaachta walk, installation of Dustbin in nearby villages & public places, Tree Plantation & Construction of Public Toilet to create awareness on hygiene and importance of cleanliness.
